Hello! I’m Erica Norton, and I started my own licensed family child care seven years ago as a way to pursue my life-long interests in primary education and child development. Since then, I’ve furthered my education in the childcare field, and relocated our business.

Over the course of this journey, I realized there was a lack of a full-fledged print magazine devoted to the vital segment of the childcare industry that we as family childcare owners provide. Since my husband has experience in publishing, the idea of creating a voice for our industry came naturally!

As we start our second year of publication in 2017, our goal remains making Family Childcare magazine a valuable resource for you to rely upon as you manage, grow, and improve your own in-home childcare programs.
